DECSI Adds Two New Sub Branch in Mekelle

September 28, 2023. DECSI, Tigray.  Dedebit Credit and Saving Institution (DECSI) opened other two new additional sub branch in Mekelle, the region’s capital city, on 26 September 2023. The two new sub branches are opened at Dagim Amsal (Adi Haqi sub city) and Simret – commonly known as Qelqel Debri, (Hadinet sub city).

Ideally, the locations seem like important to serve DECSI customers coming from different places. Since, both the newly opened sub branches are situated near to Taxi stations, which many people’s movements regularly occurred, it will be helpful to easily accessible to the local communities and business owners living around.

In the short opening action, akin to the other time, DECSI CEO and PR, Mekelle branches coordinator, respective sub branches staff and sporadically clients were some of the event attendants.  

20230926_160657.jpg20230926_163209.jpgBesides attending the opening ceremony, Mr. Mulugeta Brhane, CEO of DECSI paid a quick visit too and has undersized discussions with sub branch managers. He so said that, we have to be more competent in the existing financial sector.

Having additional micro finances, branches and sub branches in Mekelle would be advantageous to bring new customers. Thus, opening new micro finances, branches and sub branches will be continue based on the feasibility study conducted and their financial implications. This would be helpful in achieving DECSI’s mission being regional financial hub amid the Tigray people.

“Currently, DECSI has 10 micro finances (two will be officially opened soon) and 16 sub branches in Mekelle city” said Mr. Gebrelibanos Mebrahtu, the Mekelle branches coordinator.
